Perfect One Day Macau Itinerary, My Experience!

Macau is a beautiful island & my trip to Macau was barely one and a half day, but it was totally worth it, I wished I had more days in Macau. In this article I am going to share one of the best & must see places in Macau if you are there for a limited time. This itinerary will be perfect for one or two day trip. Alright let’s get straight into it.

Starting with, I am going to tell all the places that are important for your single day trip, and then I will share the perfect itinerary according to the time, so lets get started with Macau one day trip.

Londoner Macau

The best thing about Macau is that you can get a whole world vibe, one of them being Londoner Macau, the place itself is so beautiful that you get to experience proper London architecture & streets. its like stepping into London itself but in Asia.

What is so great about Londoner Macau?

  1. It is an expensive 5 start hotel with world class amenities.
  2. It is situated in Cotai strip, the famous Macau Street
  3. Londoner Macau has a beautiful casino, where in the entry is free and you also get free water and beverages.
  4. You also get to see one of the most amazing shopping centre inside the hotel, I felt that I was shopping in London.

However, I visited Londoner Macau for a different thing, its spectacular shows which happen in the hotel lobby, I have put up a video on my Instagram you might want to check it out, I cannot post it here as the file size is quite large. One show which I found truly entertaining is Changing of the Guardthe show is very beautiful & free to watch, you might want to go early as the place gets really crowded.

Timing of Changing of the Guard Show –

Monday – No Shows, Tuesday to Thursday – 7:30 PM & 9:30 PM, Friday To Sunday – 4:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 9:30 PM.

There is also Londoner Light & Sound Show happening daily every hour from 6:30 PM to 11:30PM, the show happens right outside the main entrance of the shopping mall. I cannot comment on that as I was unaware of this show at the time of visiting, but if you get a chance do visit it & let me know in the comments below.

The Parisian Macau

Macau’s Cotai Strip is really great for these types of hotel resorts, the second one in my list is The Parisian Macau, as the name suggests it is meant to give you the experience of Paris. Can you believe it has its own Eiffel tower, just like Paris. I visited this as this is just in front of The Londoner Macau, so was pretty convenient too. I only saw it outside from the streets and got some beautiful pictures clicked.

However, just like The Londoner Macau, this one is also a Hotel with casino & a shopping mall. It has a half scale 160 metres Eiffel tower outside the hotel. In the night the tower lights up & it looks so beautiful you can just sit in front of the tower & watch it lit. For one day itinerary you cannot miss the view.

The Parisian Macau hosts Eiffel Tower light & Music Show daily from 6:00 PM to Midnight every 15 minutes, so when you go to The Londoner Macau you can club both of these together & won’t take much of your time.

The Venetian Macau

Alright so this hotel is going to be the last one in my list, & trust me you can do all of this in a single day. This hotel as the name suggest is inspired from Venice, Italy & If you are in Macau it is a must see attraction, this has way more to do than above two that I have mentioned, you can complete this in day time.

What is so great about The Venetian Macau?

  1. You get to see pretty Venice in Asia, the shops & hotel is all inspired by beautiful Italy.
  2. Apart from Casino & a very large shopping area that gives you the vibe of shopping in Europe, it also has a boat tour in the middle of the complex that you can sit and enjoy, it is a short ride but totally worth it, they call it Gondola Ride. it will cost you 195 MOP (24 USD).

For good pictures & amazing vibes you have to go to this hotel, there are also plenty of options to eat in the shopping complex so no need to go out for that, we had an amazing ice cream on the way. Overall The Venetian Macau has a lot more to offer & feels a complete package.

Senado Square

The next on my list is, this street area called Senado Square, you get pretty vibes here & always crowded. But this street also resembles to a country in Europe. By looking at the pictures what do you think it looks like ? comment below.

What to Expect?

  1. It is a fun street you can walk & chill, have a good time.
  2. There are a lot of shops for shopping
  3. Number of Cafe’s & Restaurants along the way

Overall it is just a walking street, but I really liked the vibe of it.

Ruins of St Paul’s

This one is a historical attraction from 17th century, truly this one is an iconic landmark. When I visited this, there was a lot of crowd especially on the stair. It was a catholic complex, with Church & College inside. But as per wikipedia, it got destroyed because of fire & today only its facade & staircase remains.

The facade is large & beautiful, also the grand staircase gives it a distinct look. It is also closer to the Senado Square, so you can visit both of them at the same time. I sat there for like half an hour on the grand staircase, it felt nice and also clicked some pictures. Overall you get a Portuguese vibe here.

Alright so this was it, for a one day itinerary for Macau, you have surely more things to do in Macau that I am going to cover in my next article, but for day this is the best possible way to experience island of Macau.

1 Day In Macau

  1. Start with Senado Square in the morning, take a nice walk, see the streets & markets.
  2. From Senado Square go to Ruins of St Paul, enjoy the beautiful facade & staircase.
  3. Afternoon or mid day you can go to The Venetian Macau, it is quite big & you won’t have any sun on your head.
  4. Proceed to The Londoner Macau & watch a beautiful show in the Lobby, take a tour of the hotel
  5. Go to The Parisian Macau & immerse yourself in the beautiful Eiffel Tower

I haven’t mentioned any of the restaurants & cafes in this one day itinerary, I will cover the topic in the next article. For all the updates regarding the Macau, follow, Macau Travel Guide & Inspiration.
